Silver Lake is special and a short drive to Echo Park, Los Feliz, Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. If you are looking for diversity, great coffee, lively wine bars and a farmers' market, this is the place. There are wonderful walks in the hills, around the Reservoir, and up the famous Esther Stairs.
