Noun Project (thenounproject.com) is looking for a full-time content specialist to curate icons and engage with our global community.
As content specialist, you will moderate icons for technical and design quality, copyright and trademark infringement, and manage icon tags for relevance and searchability. This position directly interacts with our Creator community. You will answer questions, track feedback, and catalog requests. You will also hand select content (best of the best icons, collections, and creators) to be featured on the Noun Project homepage, which is seen by millions around the world.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Communications, or Journalism
Excellent critical thinking
Full command of English language and spelling
Awareness of current events and sensitive to cultural climate on an international scale
Familiar with global brands, logos, icons, and other trademarked/copyrighted materials across media, fashion, and tech
Independent self-starter, but also a great team player
Adaptive and decisive when encountering new and unknown situations
Detail-oriented with an appreciation for design
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or other vector graphics software
