Written confessionals making excuses for yourself (Silverlake)

compensation: Please shoot me a couple of examples and if your voice is unique and fits the project, we can proceed at $1 per excuse

For a video project I am looking for written confessionals from many individuals: people who do things they know is wrong but they do them anyway.

Examples: People who
* Acknowledge that Amazon is a bad company for its work practices but make excuses for using it anyway.
* Drive a car even though it would be better for the environment to ride a bicycle or take public transportation.
* Eat meat even though the meat industry leaves the largest carbon footprint, increasing the climate crisis.
* Justify any other behavior that has real world consequences. Anything else you can think of along these lines.

Looking for justifications that you yourself make or things you hear other people say.

These excuses and justifications are for a video poem for possible gallery exhibition. I want to draw attention to the "I know it's bad, but..." narratives that we culturally condition ourselves to. If you think this is an interesting project and would like to be a part of it, please let me know! I can send you a finished copy, of course, and credit you (if you want that).

If you are interested, please shoot me a couple of example (use two from above) and if your voice is unique and fits the project, we can proceed at $1 per excuse.
