We publish documentation of expert research interviews for the financial services industry.
Our editors utilize a sophisticated automatic speech recognition platform to create fully edited transcripts of expert interviews across a variety of topic areas and industries. Looking for editors to eventually specialize in specific topic areas: scientific/medical/pharmaceutical, technology/media/telecommunications, business/financial, or consumer/industrial.
We are a 24 x 7 operation Monday-Saturday with all shifts available. We are especially looking for editors interested in late night, overnight, and early morning shifts. Shifts are 9 hours, with a 1-hour break.
Position is contract to hire. After a successful trial period, option to convert to salaried/full time with benefits and promotion path.
--Demonstrated English language expertise: Grammar, spelling, punctuation, AP style.
--Ability to work independently and on strict deadlines.
--Passion for detailed research to ensure 100% accuracy in our documentation.
--Degree in English, journalism, writing, or equivalent experience.
--Typing at 80wpm+
--Experience with transcripts/transcription
--Expertise in one of our research topic areas
--Knowledge of or experience with the expert research industry
Interviews average 60 minutes. Our most skilled editors can complete documentation in 2-2.5 hours. Pay begins at $1.25/minute ($75/interview) for freelance period, with option to convert to full-time salary with benefits and available overtime pay after a successful trial period.
