We just finished cleaning and repainting, etc. this 1913 craftsman bungalow in historic Zaferia Neighborhood. Only 1 block from Signal Hill.
It is a clapboard house with a newer roof. Beautiful flowers in the front yard entrance. Charming home with a fireplace, Old baseboards, and moldings. A large kitchen in bright white with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, stackable washer and dryer, and a utility sink. Crema Marfil flooring with plenty of storage space. ( I am a chef and I designed the kitchen) One medium-sized bedroom downstairs, and we just put new granite flooring in the bathroom. Super clean throughout. The upstairs attic is carpeted, with a new air conditioner. The lower part of the house has an air conditioner and a Split system, which cools and heats. Outside, we have a converted garage which can serve as a bonus room, bedroom, or study. An outside gazebo with blue silk saris hanging from the latticework. A glass-topped table and some chairs for a nice luncheon area. On the one side are storage units for tools, etc. On the other side are two raised vegetable gardens. These are surrounded by malibu pebbles. White fencing surrounds the entire property. Privacy is secured for all. Quiet street, and it is less than 300 feet from an elementary school, so crime is super low in the neighborhood. (The law says that any crime perpetrated within 500 feet of a school is triple time in jail, so thieves avoid such areas in general) No pets please and no smoking of any kind. These are the rules and I enforce them immediately.
