Designed by Kurt Olsen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk, this pair of “Model 223” armchairs from the 1950s are a rare set with their original faux leather upholstery and sculptural teak wood frames. Offering both timeless style and comfort, the curve of the backrest pairs nicely with the tapered legs, making these perfect for guest chairs in an office or as dining chairs with a round bistro table. The open silhouette and warm undertones of the wood, makes this complementary to a variety of décor like Danish, Scandinavian, Mid Century, Japandi, Organic Modern, or Minimalist.
These are in very good vintage condition with some light wear to the teak wood and the seats.
