Antique (well over 100 years old) Japy Freres French Louis XVI Bronze Clock Set; Clock and a pair of 5 arm candelabras.
Marked Japy Freres, Medaille d'Or.
The set has a beautiful patina, we never considered removing it.
The clock is 21" tall, in great working condition, it runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves.
Original movement , pendulum and key.
The candelabras are 23" tall, have 4 arms for candles, the fifths has a finial that can be replaced by another candle.
One candelabra has a median ornament missing (see pictures.)
Amazing clock/cadelabras set, museum quality.
We purchased this set in 2002 in an antique shop in Paris, France.
After 20 years of enjoying it, somebody else can admire it.
