The Falcon kickstarted my love for EUCs. It was my first, I bought it new, and it served as the perfect beginner electric unicycle for 1500+ miles. For the first week I rode only on grass to protect myself and the Falcon. I ordered it with the knobby tires, and that was the best decision. I love going off road with this little workhorse. The wheel has adequate suspension to soak up bumps, potholes, and for hopping off curbs. I also have the heavier springs you can install if you're over 225 pounds.
The Falcon is most happy in the 18-22 mph range. I would run bursts up to 27 to pass people, and that was fine, but the small wheel size means this is an agile ride more than a speed demon. Still, the 31 mph top speed is plenty fast for most.
I bought power pads (which are included) as the factory pads aren't great. However, I trimmed and kept some of the factory pad material for comfort and to protect the wheel. That said, I've never fallen or crashed the wheel on pavement. I only fell on grass when learning. If you're a beginner and come to test this out, I'll have you go on grass nearby and put pads on you. Or you can be like me and just buy it and believe in yourself (and YouTube videos). I can give you a demonstration if you like and share some tips, but just know getting the hang of and EUC just takes time. And it's such a fun time, too!
Comes with a factory charger, which is pretty quick. This machine has been flawless. It has the high capacity 50S batteries. I've never distance tested it myself, but have gone on a 25 mile trip with battery to spare. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
