Responsibilities:
Manage projects from start to finish, including full oversight and quality control
Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets
Review, approve, and manage vendor proposals, scopes, and change orders
Maintain all project documentation: daily logs, reports, inventories, and records
Coordinate with leadership on scope, buy-outs, and reserves
Perform billing reviews, audits, and invoicing
Monitor project risks and proactively address schedule or budget issues
Respond to on-call needs and manage technician/vendor availability, 24/7
Fill in as needed, including hands-on tasks and additional responsibilities
Build rapport and maintain professional relationships with insurance adjusters and clients
Ensure daily communication with adjusters and clients via phone and documented email updates
Maintain weekend availability to address calls, texts, and emails as needed to prevent project delays
Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Be comfortable and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
Treat communication as a top priority throughout all phases of the project
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout Southern California to perform project inspections, walk-throughs, and updates
Must have strong leadership and ownership mentality owning each project from beginning to end.
Experience & Education:
2+ years as Assistant Project Manager
Skilled in construction drawings, specs, and take-offs
Supervised Large Loss Events or Large Construction Projects
Experience in DR (Disaster Restoration) or GC (General Contractor)
Minimum of 3 years in the mitigation / restoration industry
Xactimate experience preferred but not required
Valid driver's license
