We usually like to start by talking about the good things in our cars, but this one deserves a different approach. Letās be real from the start so you know exactly what youāre looking at before you even stop by.
First off ā yes, itās been in an accident. From the looks of it, the last owner (or a friend in the body shop business) did a DIY-style repair on the front bumper. Imagine one of those TikTok āstaple fixesā ā the staples are so visible they almost look like a scar. Itās also missing the fog light cover.
According to the AutoCheck report, it shows two owners and no accidents, but the front bumper tells another story. The body overall doesnāt have huge damage, just normal scratches here and there. On the passenger side, itās missing some wheel arch moldings, and thatās the side with most of the dents and scratches. The clear coat is faded on most flat surfaces, and the rear bumper has a dent too.
Inside, youāll find a few more flaws:
Passenger front seat is stuck in an awkward position and doesnāt move
Radio doesnāt work
Power liftgate doesnāt work (manual only)
Missing rear A/C vents
Loose sun visors
Thatās the ābad list.ā Not too scary, right? At the end of the day, youāre really buying it for the engine, transmission, and wheels ā and those are in good shape. Itās been driven only about 11k miles per year, which is pretty reasonable for its age.
Youāre welcome to bring your mechanic for an inspection before buying. Weāll also try to fix the seat position in the coming days, but no promises.
