2000 Jaguar XKR Supercharged Convertible for sale. $10,000.
Agreed upon value with Hagerty Insurance for $17,000.
And Hagerty Insurance is only $700 a year for full coverage.
Registration paid, good until next May.
Black exterior and black leather. No tears in the upholstery.
Interior Very Good Condition with lots of wood.
It has the three gauges in the center, not the useless navigation screen.
Almost new tires. Lots of receipts, but not all.
Always garaged.
All the famous Jaguar issues have already been fixed:
Timing Chain Tensioners replaced along with water pump and thermostat housing.
I don't have a receipt for the tensioners as my son, a master mechanic, did the work. But I do have the old parts.
Head gaskets replaced and heads milled at the same time as the tensioners.
Convertible top in excellent condition. Hydraulic hoses and pistons have been replaced.
No receipts for the hoses as I did them myself 7 years ago when I started to get the green shower.
(A job that took me 3 full days and required removing almost the entire interior. The parts were about $1500, but still many thousands less than Jaguar or the guy that flys out from Georgia and does them at your home.)
6 CD changer in the trunk although it could do with an updated stereo and speakers. I also have two 6 CD cassettes.
The car has 121,800 miles on it, which is about 5000 per year.
It also has a personalized plates (see pix) which you can have if you want to take them over,
The license works great with a supercharged V8 but not much else, unless you like to talk.
A few issues need to be addressed eventually.
(UPDATED WITH VIN AND ALL ISSUES THAT I KNOW ABOUT TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS)
I have been living with them, and they only annoy me occasionally.
Some minor chips in the paint and a couple of small scratches, but not bad for a 25-year-old car.
There is a minor oil leak between the engine and the transmission that I planned to have fixed if I ever have to pull either one.
The center rear stop light is not working and its plastic cover is cracked.
I have the replacement light and cover, but the cover needs to be painted.
The gas gauge has an intermittent problem. It will go to empty for no reason and after a while will read correctly again.
CASH or ZELLE ONLY!
No crypto, no trades, no help needed to sell and no shipping.
LOWBALLERS WILL BE IGNORED!
I really don't want to sell this car, but I'm not using it enough and can use the garage space.
Therefore, I'm in no hurry to sell and it will not hurt my feeling if it doesn't sell.
Please feel free to take it to your mechanic to check it out.
Thanks for looking.
Peace, love and understanding.
