For sale are two Sony BVM-A14F5U multiformat CRT broadcast monitors for $250 each or $400 for the pair. Both units have video issues and approximately 100,000 CRT hours are being sold as-is/for parts. It appears that the video cards are bad on both units and I am uncertain whether or not the issues are repairable or if there are other issues that would require repair. I have been advised that it could be a bad chip on the video process module that would be difficult to source/flash or something more simple like bad caps but I haven't attempted any repairs or made an effort to further diagnose them. Both monitors power on and come with a 16:9 mask and the BKM-142HS HD-SDI input card.
I also have a spare video process/video output module that I can include for another $150 if you're buying a monitor. This module appears to provide stable video but is having intermittent issues bringing up the menu when installed.
