Vintage 1987 Roland MT-32 Multi-Timbre Sound Module Synthesizer Synth
I'm a huge fan of music but unfortunately not musically inclined and thus not familiar with music equipment, however Wikipedia states "it was originally marketed to amateur musicians as a budget external synthesizer with an original list price of $695. However, it became more famous along with its compatible modules as an early de facto standard in computer music." I've also read that it's known for being used for MS DOS video game music. Also, I've read that lower serial numbers are better because the early versions are preferred. This SN is lower than the ones I've seen advertised as low.
I found it without any cables, however purchased an aftermarket power cable in order to test. Turns on and all buttons and the knob seem to work perfectly, however I'm not sure how to connect via the MIDI cables or test any further. Cosmetically overall in very nice condition, just a light bit of scuffing/scratching.
