Umaya Ramen & Lounge is a ramen & lounge Japanese Fusion Restaurant with a gastropub twist, conveniently located right off the 605 Freeway on South Street in Cerritos. We are independently owned and looking for talented, passionate, reliable and hard working individuals to come in and join our core team, with plenty of opportunity for learning and growth. We currently are looking for:
FOH Staff: Host/Busser/Server/Bartender
- Openness & Willingness to learn
- Clean work habits and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain in control in a high volume, fast-paced, demanding environment, while maintaining your sense of humor
- Ability to think quickly on your feet, taking things in stride and executing with confidence & poise
- Personable & Professional individual, polished appearance with the ability to interact with all types of team members
- Must be a team player and work well with FOH and BOH staff
- Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service to our guests on each and every visit.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Good work experience in a restaurant is highly preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends & holidays

Candidates must also have a sense of urgency in the the completion of all tasks and responsibilities.
