An iconic design, originated by Ray & Charles Eames, this vintage circa 1970s lounge chair and ottoman offers the same silhouette and style without the hefty price tag of an original Herman Miller. Featuring the original black Naugahyde faux leather upholstery framed in rich bentwood walnut, the chair reclines & swivels and when paired with the footstool, offers a comfortable spot for relaxing whether reading, watching TV, or taking a nap. The black accented, chrome bases give this a modern feel while the architectural design is a timeless look that goes with a variety of interiors like Mid Century, Danish, Scandinavian, Industrial, Modern and Contemporary.
This is in very good condition and the wood has recently been restored. However, there are still signs of vintage wear such as small areas of repairs on the wood and small scratches/tears on the upholstery (as pictured). Note, that the chair and footstool will come out of the bases if picked up to move, as they slide in (this doesn’t affect the use).
