DESCRIPTION
- This torchiere lamp has a classical style, somewhat like ancient Greek or Roman. The shade is made of thick translucent glass with an amber tint to create a soft ambient light. The greatest part of the light shines upward, but the lamp bulbs easily light a good sized room. The lamp comes with a control switch with which you can adjust the light to whatever brightness or softness you desire. The stem is bronze color and is quite solidly constructed. It is so solidly constructed that you need a strong person to carry it. It is NOT lightweight. No plastic. All quality materials. Makes a handsome and high quality lighting piece for your home or office.
