FILE CLERK:

Insurance Defense / Medical Malpractice Law Firm
(Downtown Long Beach, CA)

Responsibilities (general -- including, but not limited to):

• Filing and maintaining voluminous legal documentation

• Scanning of documents and related material

• Moving files, documents and boxes requiring moderate to heavy lifting

• Assisting attorneys, paralegals and secretaries with files and related documentation

Good organizational and numerical/alphabetical sorting skills required.

OFFICE SERVICES:

Responsibilities (general -- including, but not limited to):

• Distribution of Interoffice mail
• Operating postage machine (daily outgoing mail)
• Office supplies (inventory, ordering, stock office and kitchen supplies)
• Assembly of office furniture
• Minor repairs (paper jams in printers; toner cartridge replacements; computer keyboards and trays)
• Storage retrieval (on site storage in parking garage)
• Projects from attorneys, paralegals and secretaries
