Experience Required: Must have 1+ years setting up Star CNC Swiss machines, Mill setup a plus
Schedule for Full-time: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule for Part-time: Monday to Friday, at least 4 hours per day (can pay for travel as well)
We are a precision CNC machine shop serving the aerospace and industrial sectors. We are hiring a CNC Setup Technician with direct experience setting up Star CNC Swiss-type lathes.
Please do not apply unless you have hands-on setup experience with Star CNC machines.
This is an outside contractor job, available full-time or part-time. Tools are provided.
Responsibilities:
* Setup Star CNC Swiss-type lathes ( a plus if you have mill setup knowledge)
* Load programs, adjust tooling and offsets, and run first articles
* Perform in-process inspections
* Read blueprints and engineering drawings
* Communicate with operators and team
* Maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements:
* 1+ years of Star CNC setup experience required
* Must understand tooling, offsets, inspection tools
* Able to read blueprints and use calipers/micrometers
* Must be reliable and independent
* Able to lift 45 lbs and stand for long periods
* Outside contractors position only
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
* Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
* Full-time or part-time
* On-site in Bell Gardens, CA
* Tools provided
