One of our awesome roommates is moving out, so we are looking to replace that roommate with someone who is equally as amazing, fun, and with someone who is interested in sharing our wonderful large craftsman house with.
The room will be available to move in starting October 1st.
A little about the house:
Our house is incredibly charming and really spacious with over 2200 sq. ft and comes with a large backyard. The house is located in the Willmore historic district of Long Beach.
There are 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.
Each bathroom is shared with one other person, so two people per bathroom.
Rent is $1000 and includes all utilities such as electric, gas, water, trash service, and internet.
The security deposit is $1000
The room available is private.
Parking is available. We have a long driveway, so we share tantrum parking between all of us. There are times where you will park someone in and need to move your car or vice versa. But we don't have problems with the parking situation or sharing it between the four of us. Street parking is also pretty decent. Most of us park on the street directly in front of the house without any problems most nights.
We have a washer and dryer in the house.
Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the first floor.
We are looking for:
Someone who is like-minded. We really value each other here, and are pretty community oriented and most of us share similar hobbies, interests, and lifestyles, etc.
We are low key and drama fee. Seriously, no funny business.
Most of our roommates have stayed with us for a two or more years before they have moved on with out-of-state jobs, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc.
Responsible and stable.
Someone who appreciates a CLEAN, and safe living space.
Doesn't smoke.
I have to say this because we have been asked before:
No kiddos. No exceptions.
No pets. So sorry!!
No couples. One person per room.
No couch surfers. This isn't a flop house. Please only inquire if you have an interest in staying for 6-12 months.
No party animals.
Please no creeps! Seriously.
A little about us:
The three of us are in our early-mid 30s. We all are full time working professionals.
One works full time as a server. I work full time from home managing a vintage clothing shop, and one works full time as a warehouse manager.
We also have one very sweet and well behaved blue heeler dog and one Scottish fold cat.
We are very low key and easy going women. We are also very clean, respectful, quiet and do not smoke, but drink socially.
We all appreciate privacy, safety, and most of all cleanliness.
Please note:
***We are not just looking for a body to fill the room. We are looking for the right* person. This is our home and we all enjoy each other’s company, and sometimes like to go out, drink together, cook, hang out, go on bikes rides, or watch movies. All of us met on CL, but have all lived together for a few years now and want someone who is equally like-minded and appreciates living in our current environment.
