As our business grows, we are looking for a reliable and experienced team member to support daily operations and contribute to future administrative and compliance-related needs. This position will start as part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time based on business growth.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Ocean Freight Operations Coordinator with solid experience in international logistics. The ideal candidate brings a professional background that can support the company’s development as we expand, including areas related to operational procedures and potential licensing processes. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement, so strong self-discipline and the ability to work efficiently from home are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily ocean freight forwarding operations including booking, documentation, and coordination with carriers, customers, and vendors
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as B/L, ISF, arrival notices, and shipping instructions
• Provide support on general administrative and compliance-related tasks as the company grows
• Communicate with overseas agents and domestic partners to ensure smooth cargo flow
• Help establish internal operational procedures during early-stage development
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service
• Work effectively in both remote and office environments
Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in freight forwarding, ocean export/import, or related logistics operations
• Professional knowledge that can support the company’s future operational and administrative requirements
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation
• Highly self-motivated with strong time-management skills, able to remain productive while working from home
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a small start-up environment and take initiative
Work Arrangement
