Would you enjoy spending some time volunteering in a pleasant office environment assisting in some basic administrative tasks for a local hospice? You'll volunteer in an office environment not where there are patients. You'll learn some basic office skills relating to healthcare and Medicare regulations. Volunteering in this way helps the hospice concentrate more fully on the clinical care if its' patients and is sincerely appreciated by clinical staff members. Examples of tasks you may participate in are shredding, mailings, bereavement tasks, filing, community outreach and other opportunities. Please contact the volunteer coordinator for more details.
