GE Washer – Front loader, 4.8 cu ft. capacity, Model No. GFW550SSN2WW, with pedestal, approximately 2 ½ years old. The washer fell off the loading ramp during our move which broke the door lock mechanism and slightly damaged the front panel, causing the door not to close properly. A repairman inspected the washer and determined there was otherwise no damage to the functionality of the unit--all the electronics worked perfectly, just the loading door will not close and seal properly. Then we discovered the machine won't fit in the space of our laundry closet anyway. We decided it didn't make sense to repair a washer we cannot use. So, we’re offering the machine for $125 to anyone who would like an almost-new front load washer they can get repaired for much less than the cost of a new one.
