Overview: Up for sale is this an incredible oil painting on stretched canvas depicting a rural farm scene. Painting is signed "Rita Mirland" and dated 1942 at lower right. I haven't found any information on the artist, except that every "Rita Mirland" reference online points to a Danish name. The style and subject matter is clearly Scandinavian as well. Incredible texture and depth. Framed in a brass colored wood frame. Truly a masterful work.

Condition: Painting is in very good condition. Small repair and faint canvas slit. Frame in very good condition with minor scuffing.

Measurements: Painting measures 28.5 inches wide x 19.5 inches high. Frame measures 32.5 inches wide x 23.5 inches high.
