Overview: Up for sale is an incredible antique oil painting on board of a South American mountain village. It depicts a few villagers with a large mountain in the background. It is signed M. Arturo at lower left. Based on age and wear, I'd date this to the 1940s. Framed in a period blond-wood frame.

Condition: Painting is in fair to good condition. Numerous instances of mild to moderate cracquelure and minor attendant paint loss, particularly in sky area. Frame is in fair to good condition, with significant scuffing and weathering.

Measurements: Painting measures approximately 10 inches wide x 7.125 inches high. Frame measures approximately 12.5 inches wide x 9.5 inches high.
