Overview: Up for sale is an original color aquatint etching on artist's paper by listed Canadian/American artist, John Wesley Cotton (1868 - 1931). Cotton was born in Toronto, studied in Chicago, and later moved to Glendale, California. This aquatint is entitled "Avenue in Bruges." It is pencil-signed at lower right and numbered 6/50 in pencil at lower left. Within the signature, it appears to be dated, '13. It comes matted and framed under glass in a simple wood frame.
Condition: The print appears to be in excellent condition. Matting and frame have minor wear. Eyehook has come out of the back of the frame and should be reinserted for hanging.
Measurements: Image measures approximately 13.5 inches high x 9.25 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 21.25 inches high x 17.125 inches wide.
