Overview: Up for sale is a small woodblock print by acclaimed Japanese print artist, Junichiro Sekino (1914-88). Sekino was a very famous printmaker, known for a variety of works including Kabuki theater subjects, cityscapes and other traditional subjects, undertaken in a modern style. This print is from a published book of essays and woodblock prints called "Turret Drum," published in 1969. This is the 12th (of 14) prints in the book. According to reference online, this print is called "Tochimitsu Statue." Very cool little piece. Print appears to have been detached from the book and is unframed.
Condition: Print is in good condition. Some perforations in the right margin.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 11.625 inches high x 8.375 inches wide.
