Overview: Up for sale is an incredible c1940 WPA-era cityscape oil painting on canvas board. The painting depicts a city intersection with pedestrians and two men on motorcycles. I love the charming and gritty feel of this piece. Painting is signed "L. Becker" at lower right. Undated, but based on style and age, I'd estimate 1930-1945. Framed in an exquisite carved period wood frame.

Condition: Painting shows wear consistent with age. Frame has moderate areas of chipping.

Measurements: Painting measures 14 inches high x 12 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 23.25 inches high x 21.25 inches wide.
