Has been used inside for a clothes storage like a cedar chest.
Beautiful old camelback round top steamer trunk made of oak wood, steel and leather.
Tin panels between the wood rub trips.
Plenty of patina and character. Not perfect.
Solid and no rot.
Do not have the key for the lock but they should be available at most locksmith shops.
Both outer latches move.
Original paper lining has some stains.
No mildew.
Metal has some dents and dings over 100 years.
The end leather straps need to be replaced.
Four metal wheels for rolling in the long direction.
Size 32.5 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 23-3/4 inches tall at ends ( 27 inches at the center).
Clean and ready to use..
Can be used as a bedroom or closet clothes storage, craft sewing room supplies etc.
