Up for sale antique Ice-Block Tongs , these tongs were used to carry ice blocks in 1920's when refrigerators were not invented yet LOL, nice prop for a movie / photo shoot or theatrical production too . These ice block tongs were made by the Gifford Wood Company Hudson NY, which is marked on one side. The two rounded handles at the top make it easy to open and close. They are made of solid steel. These are in great shape with very little rust showing. They could be hung on hooks either closed or opened up. guaranteed to make great conversation piece in your office or mencave.
