So I contacted litespeed directly and verified the frame through their serial number program. They couldn’t verify it is a polo sport team bike but it wouldn’t surprise me if it is. Litespeed said it was made in late 1997 for the 1998 model year. I’ve included catalog pics from that year as provided by litespeed
