Overview: Up for sale is a preowned copy of "Costumes Japonais Et Indonesiens," (Japanese and Indonesian Costumes) by Emile Gallois, a sort of portfolio of Japanese and Indonesian fashion, compiled and/or designed by Mr. Gallois. Full color pages depicting the designs. A truly unique and cool book. Published in 1957 by Henri Laurens. All pages (they are loose-leaf) accounted for. Hardcover binding with a ribbon to secure. A very rare and collectible piece. (The only other copy I have been able to find is asking $350).
Condition: Good to very good overall condition. Some cover wear, including small stain, some discoloration on the binding ribbon and small tear on the right side of the paper portion of the cover. Loose-leaf pictorial pages are in very good shape, with minor wear.
