This beautifully restored Model 475, measures 16’ 7” and comes with the original Gator trailer (also restored) and the original Evinrude Lark IV 40 hp 2-stroke outboard motor. Total weight is 1435 lbs. and can be towed by most any vehicle.

This boat and trailer underwent a complete restoration in 2017-2018 in Green Bay, Wisconsin by the previous owner. Since it's restoration, it has always been stored in a climate-controlled garage. The Thompson lapstrake hull-form is a proven design that has been tested on the most formidable of lakes. Lake Michigan. The forward flair allows this boat to handle large swells while keeping the spray off the decks. This is a boat you have to see for yourself to really appreciate it.

The exterior lapstrakes and bottom were stripped of the old paint, sanded and sealed with CPES, 2 coats of primer and 5 coats of George Kirby Hull and Deck paint. The color was specially mixed to match Interlux Pearl White (a beautiful pale yellow). The interior lapstrakes, ribs and supports of the hull were stripped, sanded and varnished with 5 coats of Total Boat Gleam 2.0 varnish. This is a “no soak” hull.
All deck and gunnel plywood has been replaced with new marine grade mahogany ply.
New solid mahogany seats were crafted with storage compartments.
Mahogany windshield frame was removed and stripped. Side glass is original and reinstalled with new gaskets. Aluminum windshield is vented (swings open from the bottom).
Splash box was removed, stripped and sanded. New removable floor panels with new transverse oak supports. Ten coats of Gleam 2.0 varnish were applied to all the mahogany.
New original design rub rails installed. Original cable steering with original steering wheel, original speedometer, original Hadley manual air horn, original bow light with a custom-made flagstaff, 3 original closed base cleats, 2 rope guides for the bow and 2 step pads on each side of the gunnel. Two new Rule 500gph automatic bilge pumps and floor grate were installed.
All new professionally made 7pc cushions with dense foam and marine grade vinyl. Original bimini, camper tonneau with side curtains. New zippers were installed on all pieces including a custom made bimini cover.

The 1962 Gator trailer is original to this boat. It has been modified to a bunk trailer with 4 long contoured bunks for the best possible support along with new center rollers, winch and pivoting jack. Trailer was professionally sandblasted, primed and painted with urethane paint. New tires and rims with spare, new bearings and one new wheel hub, new side roller guides for easy loading. New “Gator” decals were applied to both sides of winch tower.

The motor is a 1962 Evinrude Lark IV 40 hp 2-stroke outboard motor. Electric start and electric shift. It has no electric tilt. It has not been rebuilt or restored. It was however, well cared for with regular maintenance. Most recently, a new impeller, oil change, rebuilt starter and a new propeller. The motor is smooth, fast, dependable and starts right up even at colder temps. It has never been in saltwater. It’s been cleaned, primed and painted with the original gunmetal grey appropriate for that year. New sound deadening material was applied to the inside of the cowling. The Evinrude electric starter box was also repainted and re-decaled.

Many extras are included. 2 fenders, 4 adult PFDs, 2 floatation cushions, anchor, dock lines, emergency flag, auxiliary sounding horn, first aid kit, full dust cover, motor cowl cover, ball hitch insert, transom saver and rock guard for safe towing.

You will not find a better example of a Model 475 anywhere. Over $14,000 invested.
Titles in-hand and current registration.

$9,750 cash obo. I will consider any reasonable offer.
