This engine has not been restored.
It is in nice original condition to restore or clean up and use as-is
The serial Number is 333510433 (On lower half Clamp)
The Model # V25D-6-15 is on the engine face plate which has a second serial # 7337787 indicating that this may be a replacement Tecumseh 4 stroke flathead engine ?
Has a Tillotson carburetor.
Made in USA By Scott Atwater Manufacturing Company, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Good for an aluminum, fiberglass or wooden boat.
99% complete.
Has Forward, neutral and reverse.
Not sure when it was last running. Was in indoor storage for many years.
Should start right up with new fuel lines, fuel and a carb/fuel bowl clean/rebuild.
Has nice compression and most everything (fuel valve, choke, knobs and levers) spin or slides freely.
Manual pull string type top pull to start.
Pull ring inner has a few fine cracks.
Has good patina, the green paint is both faded and shiny with lots missing.
Good 2 blade aluminum prop does not have any chips or cracks.
Finned aluminum exhaust is a work of art in itself.
Stands approximately 41 inches tall prop to top x 16 inches wide.
Weighs about 40 pounds.
A very nice fun antique motor and a perfect present for the guy or girl who is hard to buy for!!
