Hi,
If you are interested in learning an extremely effective system of self-defense for real life situations, you've found the right person. To start things off, let me briefly introduce myself and what I have to offer in the domain of self-defense training.
I am a retired big city police officer who served for 29 years, the majority of which was spent working the streets and 4 years as a master instructor in my department’s self-defense unit. Along with that, I’m a dedicated self-defense based martial artist who is skilled in boxing, muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu & wrestling, weapons (stick, knife, firearm), weapon defenses and “dirty” street fighting. In my job and private life, I have successfully handled numerous conflicts using deescalation and combat skills.
Through my experiences, I've become well acquainted with the dynamics of why and how criminals attack good citizens. Moreover, I've learned what really works and what doesn't when it comes to effectively defending oneself against such attacks. In conjunction with this, I have over 40 years of teaching experience and am very adaptive in teaching these skills in an individualized way to anyone, 18 years old and over, who is able and willing to put in the time and effort.
Contact me through email to schedule a free 1-on-1 introductory session. I will cover proactive mindset, fear control, the 4 types of attack, awareness/assessment & deescalation skills, proactive action options, physical combat skills and aftermath considerations. I will also educate you on the law & self-defense and on weapon usage.
No matter if you become a student of mine or not after our meeting, I promise that you'll be more knowledgeable about self-defense.
Now, if you do decide to study with me, we’ll discuss the logistics at the conclusion of our meeting. Let me say for now that since I am retired, I have a flexible schedule. I am also affordable because I don’t want price to deter a person from learning how to defend him/herself.
