Hi everyone, up for sale is a ONE-OF-A-KIND Painting from famed mural artist Clinton Bopp. This ORIGINAL painting was commissioned by New Line Cinemas and was used in the movie "Horrible Bosses." The movie stared Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jason Bateman.
The Painting is VERY LARGE (95x60 inches to be exact) and as you can see it is a high as my house! It is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! This would be an amazing gift for the holidays for anyone. Especially, for someone who "has it all."
Some information about the painter from his website: "Artist Clinton Bopp was born and raised in Lower Hutt, New Zealand to an American father and New Zealand mother. He arrived in Los Angeles in 1998.
Clinton's work is deeply inspired by people, their culture and the surroundings he experiences at any given time. Whether the energy of the city or nature around him, all of life's heartbeat influences his art.
Bopp (painter, muralist, stone/wood carver, sculptor, designer, set designer, restorer and teacher) is committed to (through his art) revealing the profound inter-connectedness of people and the world around him.
Employing a myriad of skills, Bopp's art reflects the amalgamation and influence of his complex history; this includes his roots in nature, Maori influences from his native land of New Zealand; and the deep respect he holds for the unknowable aspect of the universe; as well as the urban soul within he discovered after moving to America.
Ongoing themes and elements Bopp employs in his work have political or social observations reflecting the times we are all now in and experiencing. It is Clinton's desire to have his work (no matter what the medium) build on a multi-layered narrative that is both mystic and literal, expressed & unexpressed.
Bopp works primarily in acrylic and spray paint, and sometimes oils. He is known to paint on any surface. This includes recycled canvas that's been abandoned, wood from old houses being demolished, palettes found in the street, walls, shoes, and furniture. With his sculptures, he works with metal, stone, wood and clay.
Clinton Bopp is an artist with a unique, hard earned style and technique firmly planted in the 21st century. Living and working in a digital age, but with the eye and skills of a renaissance artist, Clinton hopes to (through both his art and his teaching) bridge the gap between cultures and across the ages."
