Rare 1940's Longwy France Ceramic Cup and Saucer - Vintage Collectible - $245 (Tarzana)

I have one tea cup and saucer made by the Longwy workshop in France in the early 1900's.
Longwy Workshop of Longwy, France, first made ceramic wares in 1798 in a Carmelite convent in the Meurthe et Moselle region of France near the point where France, Luxembourg and Belgium meet. The owners of the convent were the Huart family, and by 1865 the pottery brand had passed into the hands of Fernand and Hyppolyte d'Huart. They built new workshops and made decorative pieces with enamel in the style of cloisonné. Many pieces were made with Art Deco designs and their signature look was what you see in the photos, which was deep, bold colors using a lot of dark blue, teal, black, etc.. The factory used a variety of insignia marks. The mark on this particular set, although worn off in spots over the decades, said Decore A la Main on the top and France on the bottom. The center logo has a crown on the top and a shield in the center with a growing plant in the center. Today the company trades under the name Societe des Fainceries de Longwy et Senelle.
Most pieces are selling today for $200 or more, depending on the size and rarity of the piece. Many avid collectors consider these items "highly sought-after", and it is especially rare to find one is such good condition, with no breaks or cracks in it after almost 80 years.
The plate measures approximately 5.5" across, and the cup measures approximately 2.75" tall and wide (not including the dark blue handle).
