Our multifaceted company is looking to hire a motivated, reliable, friendly web-designer who can re-design our current websites and assist us in creating and developing marketing email databases. This is on-going, long term work, not a temp position.
***Please DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT BASED IN LOS ANGELES OR WITHIN 20 MILES OF NORTH HOLLYWOOD. This is an in-house job, YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK IN OUR OFFICE ABOUT 2-4 TIMES A WEEK. We will only consider local candidates***
* Expertise with Wordpress, Squarespace. Additional experience with GoDaddy, Wix, Weebly, other web-design programs are a plus
* Expertise in setting up marketing email databases, via GoDaddy, Mailchimp, Constant Contact etc...
* Experience in Graphic Design. Photoshop or other graphic design program knowledge is required. InDesign, Illustrator, etc...
* Experience working with Google docs. Must have Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft Excel proficiency
* Social media maintenance. Editing our images, adding our logo to the images and posting them on our Instagram or updating these branded photos to our websites. We will need to you add new photos to our websites somewhat frequently
* Excellent writing proficiency
* Garage Band, ProTools, Logic, Ableton, audio recording abilities are a plus but not required
* Final Cut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, video editing experience is a plus but not required
* Must live within 20 miles of zip code 91601. You will work in our office 2-4 times a week
* Please have your own vehicle or another method of reliable transportation
* You must provide your own laptop when doing work in our office (Mac preferred)
Work will include but not be limited to:
-Website Re-Desing, Updates and Maintenance using Wordpress or Squarespace. Mainly working on the re-design of our five company websites. We have five websites that need to be worked on for our Entertainment Company, Voice-over Studio, Professional Acting website and our Production Company website. We need to update these websites to a more modern, clean look.
-Setting our companies up with marketing email databases. Importing contacts we have saved in Excel into the marketing email databases. Assisting in helping us create email blasts to our clients.
-Using Photoshop or other graphic design program, to edit our photos and add our logo to them. Creating visually appealing email marketing flyers/templates.
-Posting our branded photos to Instagram.
Pay is $310 per 20 hour week
Any hours over this will be paid at the rate of $15.50 per hour
Very flexible schedule spread over 2-4 days during the week (Monday-Friday)
