THE CUSTOM BLACK AND RED INTERIOR IS NOTHING LESS THAN GORGEOUS!!! ALL METAL WAS COMPLETELY REPAINTED, WITH THE WINDOW MOLDINGS AND TRIM PIECES CHROMED. THE INTERIOR WAS DONE BY THE EXCEPTIONAL AND HIHJLY REGARDED VICTOR ZUNIGA AUTO UPHOLSTERY, AND INCLUDED NEW UPHOLSTERY, DOOR PANELS, HEADLINER, VISORS, CARPET, ETC. IT HAS A TILT STEERING COLUMN, POWER WINDOWS, STEREO RADIO, AMMETER, ENGINE TEMP AND OIL PRESSURE GAUGES, AND VARIABLE SPEED CABLE DRIVEN WINDSHIELD WIPERS. THE ODOMETER WAS RESET TO ZERO AT THE TIME OF THE RESTORATION.
AS IS THE REST OF THIS CHEVY, THE ENGINE BAY IS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL RESTORED! IT IS BEAUTIFULLY FINISHED IN BODY MATCHING MASERATI RED. THIS AWESOME CUSTOM IS POWERED BY A 383 (BORED AND STROKED 350) CHEVROLET ENGINE WITH VORTEC HEADS, ROLLER ROCKERS, POLISHED ALUMINUM CHEVROLET VALVE COVERS, A NEW ALUMINUM HIGH PERFORMANCE HOLLEY 750 CFM DOUBLE PUMPER CARB ON A POLISHED ALUMINUM HIGH RISE INTAKE MANIFOLD, AND HEADERS PROFESSIONALLY BUILT BY MIKES HOTRODS IN SIMI VALLEY CALIFORNIA. THE TRANS IS A 700R4 WITH ELECTRIC NO-LOCKUP. POWER IS TRANSFERRED TO A FORD POSITRACTION 9” REAR END WITH 4.10 GEARS. OTHER FEATURES INCLUDE A CHROMED ALTERNATOR, DUAL CHAMBER MASTER CYLINDER, PAINTED POWER BOOSTER, A CHAMPION ALUMINUM RADIATOR, AN ACCEL SUPER STOCK COIL, AN ALLSTAR PERFORMANCE BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH UNDER THE HOOD, AND DUAL EXHAUST. A NEW ORIGINAL SPECS WIRING HARNESS WAS ALSO INSTALLED. THIS CHEVY FEATURES 4-WHEEL POWER DISC BRAKES, AND THE STOCK FRONT END WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT AT MIKE’S FRAME. THE REAR END IS 4-LINK WITH ADJUSTABLE COIL OVERS.
