You’re most likely already familiar with the Alfa Romeo Spider, that was produced from 1967 to 1994. This 1993 Series 4 example is a Veloce, that is the higher performance and more luxurious model. The Series 4 Spider was produced from 1991 to 1994, and received an exterior refresh with color-matched bumpers and a revised rear fascia with integrated wrap-around taillights. Power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were fitted as standard equipment on the Series 4 Spider. This is a beautiful Southern California example of an elegantly sexy Italian sports car.
The exterior is absolutely stunning with its perfect Verde Inglese paint, new black soft top, factory 15″ 12-hole alloy wheels, mounted with excellent 195/R15 Good Year Reliant all-season tires. Other features include a tonneau cover, halogen H4 headlamps, wrap-around taillights, chrome tailpipe tip, and special personalized ALFIST license plates. The exterior looks like new!!!
The beige leather interior is beautiful. The original Veloce leather with Alcantara insert seats are in excellent condition, having been protected much of their lives by $800 custom sheepskin covers! Appointments include air conditioning, an Alpine AM/FM/CD XM capable stereo with power antenna, a rear parcel shelf, power windows, leather steering wheel, power steering, passenger illuminated vanity mirror, analog clock, carpeted floor mats, lockable inside trunk release, lockable gas filler release, door storage for maps, etc., and seat/shoulder belts. The Alfa Romeo Spider is essentially a classic Italian sportscar!
This ALFA is powered by a Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injected 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 120 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip 4.10 axle ratio differential, and a top speed of 119 MPH. It has power rack and pinion steering, power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes, independent front suspension, and live axle rear suspension. The performance and handling are wonderful, and this Alfa is a real joy to drive.
The engine bay looks immaculate, as does the inside of the trunk, which contains the spare tire and jack.
Included in the sale is the owner’s manual, service records, new workshop manual, and the special personal ALFIST license plates.
The bottom line is that this 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is in amazing condition, that will please even the most discriminating enthusiast. It has a clean title, and has passed a California smog test, and is a real pleasure to drive.
