Too many toys! I am selling these classic 4x4 trucks:
’73 Land Rover Series 3 109 Station Wagon. 9-10 passenger with tropical roof and Alpine windows. Legally imported from Australia and have current California title in my name. Rare Bahama Gold color, right hand drive, and Tropical roof. Strong running GM Holden “Red” 3.3 liter 6 cylinder conversion with Fairey overdrive. Heavy duty Husky Superwinch (Camel Trophy type). Full size roof rack with ladder. Just took part in the Vineyard Series Land Rover event in Santa Barbara. Unrestored "survivor" with great patina. $30k
’68 JEEP Gladiator Thriftside J2000 4x4. This is real rarity due to its extremely unusual specification: factory short bed stepside (Jeep named this Thriftside), factory installed Dauntless 350 V8 (supplied by Buick). It also sports a manual transmission with original floor shift. I bought this a number of years ago from the original owner’s family and the name of their farm is still hand painted on the doors. This truck was never modified or abused - it is bone stock and spent most of it's life in sunny Tucson. I planned to keep the perfectly aged patina intact, but it could also be restored if desired. Running condition but needs brake work. Has been in storage for some time and will need service and TLC. Clean California title in my name (non-op). Owners manuals / service records included. $15k
’79 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Listing this for a close friend that has owned it for 40+ years. Complete and original including factory paint and interior. It is an original California blue plate car and is currently registered. Never apart or modified. Runs, drives, shifts, stops, and still has factory emissions equipment. It has body rust from living close to the ocean (Newport Beach) but frame is very solid. Needs a full restoration but a good candidate to start with as there is no prior renovation work or modifications to undo. These later FJ’s are more desirable than the earlier models (due to factory disc brakes, double rear doors, etc.). $12,500
Prices are fair and firm.
I am located just south of Santa Barbara.
