Selling my Mom's 1998 Dodge Caravan asking $1250 or Best Offer.
It has a salvage title from an accident back in 2022. I was driving and a car turned left in front of us against a red arrow, causing the back right of his car to hit the front right of the van. It didn't get any frame damage, but needed a new bumper, headlight, and quarter panel, so they determined the damage was more than the value of the car. She took the salvage title and the money and had it repaired.
It now has a hole in the bumper (from somebody backing into it with a trailer hitch), and a dented right rear (from a truck backing into her in a parking lot). The lens is broken, but the lights are working. (Pics have both circled in red).
The car needs a transmission. It is running, and the engine has been great, but the input shaft has become loose and broke, so transmission fluid leaks out. It will need to be towed.
The only other things I know that are wrong are the heater core needs replacing, and the ac probably needs a charge (slow leak that requires charging every year or two).
It is currently registered as non-op because of the transmission.
