The stats: It sports a 27” flat faced screen offering a sharp digital comb filter picture. It has a 181 channel cable ready tuner and features front and rear A/V composite RCA inputs as well as a digital audio input. It has built-in side mounted stereo speakers, with a front minijack input for headphones. Its DVD players can play standard DVDs DVD-R and Video CD disks. It also can play audio CDs, CD-R and CD-CW disks. Its VCR sports four heads with HiFi stereo playback using Dolby ProLogic surround sound that can be connected to an external device. It even has an 8-event/1 month program timer for future recording, and can record both off-air signals through its coax connection and directly from DVD disks.
The set itself is in near perfect physical condition with no visible nicks or scratches on its body. (The estate that previously had this device purchased it in 2003 and had it as minimal usage.) With the exception of the failure for the DVD drawer to open/close, this device is in working order. It’s the ideal set to use to play back any standard resolution analog VHS tapes, as well as for use as a monitor to play video games, especially for legacy video games and game player devices.
It can also be used by set decorators and art directors as set dressing for a period television program or feature film for any scene taking place in the early years of the 21st century. (i.e. “Living Room scene-c. 2005”, etc.)
It includes the original remote and all paperwork that came with this set when purchased as new including its original receipt issued from a local Best Buy retail outlet!
