About The Job:
We are hiring a Store Manager for our store in Granada Hills, CA. Our largest location will feature the addition of soft serve ice cream and shakes as well as drive-thru service and around 40 seats. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast casual/fast food environment and is capable leading both in the kitchen and with hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Hire and onboard all staff
Own the training plan— griddle, build, expo, cashier, hospitality and menu
Effectively facilitate training on new menu items, processes, SOPs, and technical skills
Hold regular 1:1 check in’s and annual performance reviews
Create the weekly schedule to meet labor goals without compromising guest/employee experience
Schedule self for maximum labor efficiency and greatest strategic impact to guest/employee experience and team development
Work well under pressure, creating a positive working environment at all times
Ensure store maintains a letter A grade by meeting and exceeding the standards of all local regulatory agencies
Create goals with Shift Leads that drive towards desired results and team oversight
Other Responsibilities:
Execute all duties on all stations at the highest level
Address common facilities maintenance issues autonomously and escalate any unique or special issues appropriately
Maintain a safe environment for all employees and customers
Must posses a food safety manager certification or be willing to attain one within the first 30 days of employment
Availability for both weekend days and overall schedule availability— the manager is on call.
Qualifications:
Must be able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and for work-related errands
Be proficient in Square POS and other digital tools used by Goldburger
Effectively communicate, both written and verbal
Benefits and Compensation:
$75,000-$85,000 plus potential
Two weeks paid vacation per year
