Vintage Laundry Hamper I Retro Kitschy MCM 1950's I Mint Green Wicker Hamper I All Original
This vintage wicker clothes hamper from the 1950's is in near mint condition! There are no scratches and virtually no paint loss. It is free of dents; the hinges work well and the lid closes as it should. It is very solid and stable.
It is a beautiful soft mint green color. The main body of the hamper is made of wicker. The lid and 4 tiny feet are made of wood. The lid is covered in the original vinyl type material.
The wicker is stabilized at the top, bottom, middle back, and with two vertical strips on the front made of metal. The base of the hamper is also metal with manufactured 'holes' to ensure ventilation.
The brand is Pearl Wick of "Long Island City, New York" and the original manufacturers label is still intact!
The measurements are as follows: 24 inches tall; 21 inches wide; and 11 3/4 inches deep.
The inside (metal portion) measures: 22.5 inches tall; 19.5 inches wide; and 11 inches deep.
