Never used. We got this to create mechanical effects devices but are not using this right now.
This is from an $800 Devaise motorized lift chair.
It is the expensive part
Owner was sent one box with the base unit, steel frame and the motor and control unit
It was missing the second box with the seat back. So the base unit should be used for it's mechanical steel cage and motor.
This is a fairly powerful little linear motor setup and these usually cost more for the electronics than the whole chair.
NEVER used. Put it in a robot, a neat device, whatever! But the fact that it has mounts, mounting frame, the motor, and pivot points along with wiring and an attached control unit means it has a complete setup to build into something.
I would guess that it must have 6-8 inches of movement. But I do not know as we never set it up.
