This is a stunning and somewhat rare version of Danish furniture as it is PURE, SOLID teak
NO veneers. The top is made of SOLID 1-1/4" thick teak
Perfectly joined without separations showing that the craftsmen who made this in the 1960s (?) used the best techniques and joining methods
Table is extremely flat and can probably hold many hundreds of pounds
The legs are solid teak. They are re-sawn teak boards made into 1/16" slices. Basically solid teak laminated pieces.
Those were stacked and placed in a double compound curved press to create these gorgeous legs
It has the original Haslev logo next to the Furniture Makers DANISH control tag
Severin Hansen owned Haslev and was also a primary designer.
This is his or one of his designers
There were a few versions made with some having tile or patterns on top which are a bit dated versus this version which is a very clean minimalist design.
Currently the table is in very solid condition, but it has normal use marks.

That would remove ALL layers of finishes, Sand down to 320 grit
Embed proper Danish teak oil with hardeners in it for the best and most authentic finish.
