Filtered water and air are mixed in the Vortex Reaction Chamber to create a tiny tornado effect that rapidly draws dissolved wastes from aquarium water. These dissolved organic compounds are trapped and contained in the high-capacity collection chamber, where they are separated from clean water until they can be removed.
