Diana Denslow:
In Her words:
" It all started with a box of crayons. I can remember using them as far back as age 4. I suspect it started earlier, but I can only document age 4. My sun is in Aquarius, but I have Capricorn rising and a Sagittarius moon. I do not claim to know a lot about astrology, but in a general way this set up inner conflict from the get go. My Aquarius wanted to be free. My Capricorn wanted to be perfect (I started out coloring within the lines and doing it very well). My Sagittarius and my Aquarius wanted to share my coloring books and crayons with my friends, who were not as neurotically careful with them as was I. Whoa! This is probably way more than you wanted to know. I think I need a blog. I know I need a web site.

I no longer color in the lines. Oil paints are very forgiving. If you don't like what you have painted, you can change it. This is not so true of color crayons . . . or life. I have experimented with many mediums and love many of them, but I have the most experience with oil painting.

I wonder if by the time I actually get organized enough to put bios on the back of my prints if what I write now will be totally out of date. So now you know 2 more things. I am not very organized and my life circumstances change with a fair amount of frequency. The second fact may to some degree explain the first."
