Perfectly proportioned Scandinavian mid century modern teak draw leaf dining table, made in Denmark in the 1960s. The dining surface sits atop a set of four elegantly tapered legs, matching the softly rounded edges of the tabletop and leaves.
Each leaf adds almost 2 feet, making ample room for 10 guests. This particular table is nearly half a foot wider than most drawleaf tables from the era, affording additional room for shared dishes during larger gatherings. The leaves stow underneath the main dining surface when not in use.
The main tabletop was fully refinished. The rest of the table is in excellent original condition, with light traces of use visible only on close inspection. The table is sturdy and the draw leaf mechanism functions perfectly.
