Vintage solid teak two tier side table with beveled edge, designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and made in Denmark by France & Daverkosen in the 1950s.

The sculpted legs, separated from the top by a set of rounded brass bushings, give a sense that the top floats above the frame. This design was no doubt the inspiration behind Lane's "Perception" collection.

Sold by John Stuart in the US, this piece retains the retailer's iconic placard. The France & Daverkosen logo is faint but visible.

Refinished to perfection.
